About
We exist to give finance teams a calm, independent reading of the close before external auditors arrive.
Origin
Netsyncplatform began in Sheung Wan after years of watching Hong Kong finance teams scramble through year-end with incomplete reconciliations and last-minute cut-off surprises. The practice was founded to offer something narrower than a full audit firm and more rigorous than a casual peer review: dedicated financial close review management.
How we work
We sit with working papers, bank statements, and account owners — not with abstract frameworks alone. Reviews follow the rhythm of your close calendar. Findings are written in plain language so a controller can brief the audit committee without translating jargon.
Our office at Infinitus Plaza, 199 Des Voeux Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong keeps us close to clients in Central, Western, and Kowloon. On-site work is the default when binders and warehouse cut-offs matter; hybrid file review covers lighter month-ends.
Values in practice
- Specificity over theatre — We name the account, the amount, and the missing support.
- Respect for the close window — We schedule around your soft-close and hard-close dates, not ours.
- Independence without drama — Observations are candid; tone stays professional.
People
Engagements are led by senior reviewers with Hong Kong financial reporting backgrounds, paired with associates who handle sampling and schedule tie-outs. We introduce the named lead at the scope call so you know who will be in the room during fieldwork.
Community
We contribute Field Notes on period-end topics for Hong Kong finance practitioners — cut-offs, intercompany traps, and calendar design — without turning every article into a sales pitch. When a question needs a formal engagement, we say so.
